Parking Fees

Car parking is available at Heartlands, Good Hope and Solihull hospitals, however, at times spaces are limited. See below for State Benefits Claimants and Discounted Multiple Tickets. For information on why we charge parking fees, and where the money goes, click here.

Standard Parking Charges for Heartlands, Solihull and Good Hope Hospitals

  • 15 mins* - Free
  • 1 hour - £2.00
  • 2 hours - £3.00
  • 4 hours - £4.00
  • 24 hours - £5.00

*Drop Off / Pick Up Only - Entrance tickets allow FREE exit for up to 15 minutes. There is no need to use the pay on foot machine, simply insert your ticket in the exit barrier.

Please DO NOT pay for your parking until you are ready to leave the car park, as any underpaid tickets will be rejected by the exit machines.

Discounted Multiple Tickets

A range of discounted tickets for multiple visits are available from the Parking Office. These include:

  • 3 day ticket - £7.00
  • 7 day ticket - £14.00
  • 20 exit Carnet - £26.00

Tickets for longer periods may be obtained with the endorsement of the ward or department:

  • 14 day ticket - £20.00
  • 28 day ticket - £32.00

State Benfits Claimants

None of our hospitals charge parking fees to those who cannot afford to pay. People receiving certain income-related benefits can park free of charge as long as they bring proof with them and present it at the parking office.

Individuals in receipt of income-related State Benefits may qualify for FREE parking. Qualifying benefits must be those where an assessment of income has been made. These types of Benefits include:

  • Housing Benefit
  • Council Tax Benefit
  • Pension Credit
  • Jobseeker's Allowance

Please show documentary evidence at the Main Reception or Parking Office.
