We are one of the largest foundation trusts in the country, with over 11,000 employees providing general and specialist hospital and community care for the people of East Birmingham, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth and South Staffordshire.
We pride ourselves on having services at the heart of our communities. Our hospitals include Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, Solihull Hospital, Good Hope Hospital and Birmingham Chest Clinic. We also provide community health services across the borough of Solihull and run a number of smaller satellite units, allowing people to be treated as close to home as possible.

Cold Snap - Alternatives to A&E
With the recent cold weather, our hospitals are currently very busy. As an alternative to A&E, for minor injuries and non-emergency care, local walk-in centres have a host of GPs and nurses ready and waiting to see you. NHS Direct is also available for advice 24 hours a day on 0845 46 47.
